Big Ordinary trade at the open today- 250,000 shares at the 230p offer
Let's not forget the 53.4p annual dividend- which is pretty good compensation for a flat share price.
Big jump today, while ither junior gold miners I own are flat/down- no news, any theories?
I visited a Faberge store yesterday (25th anniversary present). Superb design, premium brand, will before long be worth close to GEM's current market cap in my opinion! My poi t is that the asset backing and growth potential of emerald and ruby operations suggest there is a lot more upside for this share on a 2-3 year view.
This stock is way too cheap. It has underperformed FLG and CSN, the other closed-life consolidators, since the FCA's foul-up and has considerable recovery potential in my view. The yield is now close to 9% and debt is coming down quite fast in the next 2 years, so dividend looks covered from cashflow going forward.
I think it's positive. Getting the first few customers and contracts in place is always the hardest- now they will have more to show the US market, and the RNS suggests that Pinto also bring some complementary skills in the form of project execution. The price paid, all in shares, seems reasonable and not materially dilutive for existing shareholders.

My guess is that one of the major institutional shareholders has been selling- watch out for an RNS soon if so. RNS- only 335k new shares onto a base of 105m shares is only 0.3% dilution- so why the 10% drop yesterday?
