The recently published analysis results for Lithium quantities in Mexico assets is great and has fuelled much discussion here over the has few days. However REM’s announcement yesterday of a significant development with it Greenland Licences concerning an upcoming exploration program may be more significant in the shorter term and affect share price movement. REM will be assisted by Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd a leading operator in Greenland's emerging minerals industry. This co-operation agreement between REM and GMEL will see an accelerated exploration programme commence on REM's licenses within a month, utilising GMELs extensive in-country skills and exploration knowhow. Gmel have all the kit needed in the area to start getting the resource out and to market relatively soon which is the difference to the Lithium project in Mexico where ‘sales’ of the mineral product are in reality years away. So as a share holder don’t forget about the Greenland value in your investment.
Quite Aldanti. One can Google Earth the Sonara project site and see only a drill rig in a dusty lay-by in god-forsaken mountain range. Yes the dusty clay under the scree is mainly lithium carbonate but there's a long way to go and much to do before any financial return comes from selling the stuff!!!
Thanks Bert. Encouraging to see these institutions buying in a big way.
Hey Guest, no funds to buy the electric car yet, spent the last proceeds for REM investment return on paying off the mortgage having been an REM investor at 0.035p and selling out at 1.9p. So continue to fill your boots and a time in the future you can buy an electric car too.
Hey Guys try to stop all this worrying over the share price. Leave your screen and go for a nice walk in the sunshine and look at the spring flowers. If you have a holding in REM then think about the facts extracted from the company April’14 report, then you’ll realise you have made a true investment for the future maybe not by this afternoon though as many seem to demand. Sonora Project ( Lithium carbonate mining) Contains one of the largest clay hosted lithium deposits in the world • Current mineral resources are approximatley 2.4 million tonnes of LCE • Initial economic study 20 year mine life • Production 35,000 tonnes per annum of battery grade LCE • Lithium demand is forecast to grow from current levels of 150,000 tpa 500,000 tpa by 2025 (source Signum Box). • Future lithium demand is projected to grow at 9.7%pa with the battery market forecast to grow by 21%pa (source Roskill Information Services) The market makers run a business to make money and will do so by fluctuating the share price especially to exploit demand from over eager retail investors that have to buy their share at 8.02am before dashing off to work,( hence the 55p spike this morning). Hi guys. New to this forum and long with JPL bought in some time ago and put on them on back boiler and haven't followed the the news on them very closely, just brooding on the hefty deficit since buying. So anybody care to bring me up to speed on whats happening. I did read about the new furnace getting going at last. News of building it got me into the share.
Have faith in this company. We need lithium to power the batteries in all those mobile devises throughout the developed and developing world. Got into REM at 0.035p sold at 1.9 having missed the 2.2 spike, but still paid off my remaining mortgage. Bought back in at 0.6 and 0.4 so very happy we are back in the 0.5s. So the upside benefits are sweet, and am happy to be in for the long term.
