I have just spoken to a very nice gentleman at ZEMA. Here is where we are: The EIS is out for public consultation with submissions due in on March 21st. After this there is a public hearing in Kabwe on April 11th. Following this, later in April - though he would not give me the precise date- the ZEMA board will meet and give its decision..yes, no or yes with conditions....so that hopefully is clear to all and why MA could not be this specific is beyond me
Smudger..that's my read of things too...but I can't find the market price for lead/zinc concentrate
Camcon that a really good question. What did happen to CF?? Anyway one4all makes an interesting point. Anyone who does even the baisc research will find that most of these companies that were allegedly mining companies were opened and closed across 2002-2006 and never filed accounts. You'll also find an interesting situation of various companies acting for the others as their company secretaries - indeed , I believe there were two companies feltat and chenrock i think who were each others secretaries. THen of course there is General Mining Limited used to collect fees from various listed entities and placed into compulsory liquidation by the official receiver. Perhaps Omar, as an accountant, can explain to everyone the circumstances under which the official receiver is moved to take such action?
Sch...I am on raised alert. Now holding 10.7m so a lot a stake here..was hoping for clarity but feel a little unnerved with the Valinger shennaningans.....so will ponder this tonight - and may diverst some shares tomorrow
Just receivedear XXXXXXXX, Thank you for writing to us regarding a reference to Berkeley Mineral Resources which appeared on a website emanating from Valinger Group. We understand that Valinger has recently updated its website and erroneously included reference to past connections with BMR in a draft. Valinger has withdrawn the incorrect information from its website and apologised to BMR in respect to this error. As confirmed at the AGM in December, the Company is still awaiting clearance from ZEMA before it can proceed with the processing of its mineral assets at Kabwe. In the meantime, BMR is carrying out various equipment tests to ensure it can maximise recoveries. We look forward to receiving ZEMA clearance and rewarding the patience of our shareholders by becoming a metals producer in the near future, especially as the world demand for lead, zinc and copper is so strong. Kind regards Masoud Alikhani, Chairman
having a laugh..minesite: No deal has yet been done on any of these, but it may not be long now. Andrew Bell is a consummate deal-maker, and he’s been negotiations on the Greenland assets with another party for several months now, although he won’t be specific about what stage he’s at. “In Greenland we’re still waiting for a transaction which if it succeeds could bring in US$10 million-plusâ€, ....so greenland has been under discussion for several months, really? check the timings..it is a tad longer than several months...and were shareholders not told of a cash offer? so now there is NO offer, but IF there was, it COULD be worth oodles...so that just leaves IPCM to come to the party and you have a complete rerun of 2010. It is so formulaic ....CAVEAT EMPTOR
Who knows who Dan Sklan is - or what his motives are.....whereas ABs remain consistent....jam tomorrow anyone, focus on the big picture and don't look at the details...
so an odd day....topped up to 10.68m...then dropped an email to MA and Mark V. seeking some clarity around Valinger etc....silence....this is very unusual - MA is normally very hot on speedy, if not fulsome answers. I am concerned but will hold fire 48hours before taking decisions
Tesco are in the process of committing suicide. Holders should stay with the stock awaiting the unbundling of the property portfolio and then get out.
