LSEers are claiming he's at a loss and averaging down ... I think not... he was up to a 13% holding July last year around 400p mark, and started buying heavily again in to the recent drop. He's buying cheap cash generation... thats the idea of the absolute return fund.... finding ways to make a return regardless of market conditions, big dividend payer for cheap seems a good strategy!
I hold the odey absolute return fund, the one thats gobbling up all these PLUS shares... its been a really cracking fund for me and I like Odey because Crispin Odey actually has his own personal fortune invested in his own funds... so he's investing his own hard earned £££, not just that of retail investors
