i guess this 'funnies' only happen with low liquidity small cap
bit of luck as to which mm HL decides to quote the trade with
if the real spread is quite small and the price is moving in small increments/decrements - then ii seems entirely possible that one mm can offer a sell price higher than anothers buy
maybe the buy price and sell price's were from different mm's
