Nice divi though which makes a change for an AIMer
some big sales were scheduled for March but ended up completing in April... hence why they missed projections. seems perfectly reasonable, but the market obviously didn't like and sentient has been negative ever since
although these items were some just after the FY end so should show up as a boost to the next FY
also SGI missed some year end targets because of some high value collectables missing the anticpated sale dates
new website doesn't seem that popular so far... but a lot of revamp work now going on
So small dealers can operate online through the stanley gibbons marketplace, so SGI can make a margin on the sales on smaller players
They have launched a new online market place that was going to revolutionise the market.... bit like an ebay but for stamps, coins, art, postcards etc
Long established, quality business - originally a collectable stamp dealer... now expanded in to all areas of auction, collectables, coins, etc through multiple businesses. International reach, Top London locations.
SGI was hot tip from ST at IC
Top hot tip from Simon Thompson... small cap expert at IC / FT
