wasn't sure if the different behaviour had anything to do with the out of sync messages
in internet explorer each time i submit a new message the cursor gets lost and i have to reclick the message box
in chrome if i type a message the cursor remains in the text box after i submit a message, ready to type the next one
but i also found the message input box behaves differently between Chrome and IE
messages get jumbled up in Chrome, but not Internet explorer
i also have an update on the chrome / internet explorer jumbled up messages
yes... it comes on if i reduce the width of my window
