HL AGAIN You currently have three oustanding trades in this stock, totalling 379,508 shares. The money for these trades is being kept in one of our bank accounts where it continues to be treated as client money, as per our terms and conditions. The shares are displayed as being held in your account and the fact that some of your trades have not settled should not affect you. Once the suspension in trading is lifted, you will be able to sell the shares regardless of the settlement position of your purchases
At present there is a shortage of liquidity in the market, meaning many trades in New World Oil & Gas remain unsettled. We are still seeing some trades settle however. It is extremely unlikely that any investors in New World Oil & Gas will be entitled to any refund of the purchases they have made, regardless of the eventual resolution of this issue.
HL Reply I can confirm that it is possible for trades to settle when a stock is suspended. I am afraid we would not be able to provide a notification when the stock has fully settled. At present some of your shares in the above stock have not yet settled. The buy for 156,841 shares from 14 May has settled, but the other purchases you have made are still outstanding.
