I think there is a great future for papers on line; as people already know the news before they buy the paper, it is the opinion that they like to read. If war broke out tomorrow, we would all rush out to buy the paper.
I think the situation in Ukraine has investors worried, so hopefully that will be resolved peacefully and things can get back to normal. I hate to say it, but we are on the brink of war.
I think it would be a mistake to take up the Natlata offer, as it would take too long to realize any share value, and they could do anything where they to get control. I also notice that they have used the the Petroneft website color scheme in their statement posted on this board.

Eamonn: I do not know anything about PTSB to be honest. They are in the same boat as AIB as far as I know.
Eamoon. I do not know really. I suppose Bank of Ireland is on a better footing, but maybe AIB has more room to improve if things work out for them. But it is hard to know really. I would split the four thousand and put two in each.
Eamonn. I think it is because they have over half a billion shares compared to bank of Ireland's thirty six million, so their share price would make them one of the best preforming banks in the world. Having said that, the Government have over 99 percent of the shares and it is expected that these shares will be sold somehow and the number of shares reduced without affecting the share price. That is the hope anyway.
