I think the pay wall is the way to go. People already pay two euro for the daily paper even though they already know the news. It is the extra comments on matters that they like to read. More and more news is going behind pay walls, which is only fair really, as the papers have to go out and get the news and you do not do that for free. What you can read on the internet for free is either outdated and something you already know.
