One of the problems we might face is that even if the farm out is announced, with the very low oil price in play, we may not see a lot of movement in the share price. We will be a well funded oil company selling a product that is not in high demand at the moment. I really hope that I am wrong.

I suppose it is like those penny slides, the pennies gather up and they finally topple over and the share price goes up. Well something like that anyway.
As far as I know if you buy at a price above the midpoint on the bid/offer it is marked down as a buy and if you buy at a price below the midpoint on the bid/offer it is marked down as a sell.
I believe that if you take the share placement there are no fees to pay.
Anovas: That is a very interesting article. I suppose we have not long to wait now, just on till the end of the month and then we will get a clearer sight of the lie of the land.
I suppose the thing with the big investors taking up the placement is that they are getting most of the company for relatively small money. From their point of view worth taking the chance as they may feel that once oil recovers it will be a worthwhile investment.

Whacker you are completely right. If oil was one hundred dollars a barrel we would not need anything to be happening, just a promise of something and I think the share price would be around two pounds just on a high oil price.
