(Sorry to split the message - didn't know that hitting enter for a new para would post last!) the RNS stated: '....The Company maintains the view that the development of Mothae is highly synergistic with its Lemphane Kimberlite Pipe Project (‘Lemphane’). Accordingly, it will negotiate directly with the Government of Lesotho, which controls the definitive approval on any transaction in respect of developing Mothae, and will update the market accordingly on progress made.' So has PM indeed been chatting with the Minister and achieved a deal? Can anyone shed light on what exactly the Lesotho governmental position might be in regard to 'definitive approval'? Can they twist Lucara's hand and force a deal? Can they provide finance?
This little snippet of news is just what we need to keep spirits up. I hope that it stems from this statement issued in the RNS of 14th December:
Hi Johnny, many thanks for your message, and a very Happy New Year to yourself! It's a miserable life on iii portfolio seeing them recording my investment in PRG as 100% loss - that's half my retirement capital shown as down the drain. I don't know which interpretation of PM to believe, so the optimist in me wants 100% to support Holeefook's last. But failure after so long to appoint a replacement nomad is my chief current concern - does it really take so long if at least a substantial part of PRG's affairs remain in order? Fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed for a happier end to 2016! Happy New Year to all holders.
Agreed Johnny. I've just now come onto this site with that in mind.
Happy Christmas, and may we all enjoy a prosperous new year!
