Agree with previous poster; why would Seplat make an offer when they can just load up on very cheap shares? If they are going to offer, what is there shareholding at the moment?
Re:theCat. I am a long term holder but being new to stocks and shares I'm nursing a loss across my portfolio and would like to see some of my shares doing a bit better. It's been a steep learning curve on AIM and have turned my back on trading apart from 2.5, which I play about with. I have not been around enough to know who are the genuine posters on these board, those who have confidence in the company and can give the inexperienced PI a decent perspective. 60 in 5 yrs, hope to havea decent portfolio and some dividend income by then although think I'll need to be more in the FTSE 350 for that, not AIM.
Wouldn't this share be starting to head north by now if a Seplat offer was close? Hope you succeed in ramping it up as I didn't get out in time, not having set a stop limit and would seriously like it to move up a bit.
The only thing I can see in the next 12 months, short of a JV or TO is me averaging down until closer to production when this share will seriously re rate! The perils of AIM! Sill hopeful Mittal will buy them out.
Very much different form last two days. Expecting less volatility but a more sustained rise. I could be wrong, usually am!
Thanks to Granto for calming my nerves. Bought £3k just before the SP nosedived. Not a big amount but would like to see some profit. Will hold now until either the company turns round or there is a takeover. If there is £2 million per day revenue, going bust is not probable and worth the risk.
