In reply to rjordan12003 -Using figures from the interim results for 6 mths ending Sept 14. 2900 bopd @$55 pb = $159,500 income per day. Cost of sales (less Depreciation, depletion and amortisation as I'm only interested in Cash at moment) was 49% of Sales or $78155 per day. Admin was 8.9% of sales so $14195 per day. Therefore, $159,500-$78,155-$14195=$67,150 cash per day. That's a surplus of $2,014,500 per month. These are cigarette packet calculations of course. What this tells me is that this company is far from dead. It is only debt that is the problem, sort it out and this company will survive and prosper. I've only got 85,000 shares as I thought "what the hell" and plowed a huge £140 into the stock. If things do sort them selves out this is going to be a traders dream and I will be in with more money; if it was trading at the moment I would definitely have a further punt.
rjordan12003 - most people use LSE; that cannot see posts that are on Discuss The Market. I use LSE to post normally but DTM for quickly viewing the BBs
Seen much better news on other stocks and the SP doesn't budge so not going to see anything on this share until a farm in is confirmed. Love your enthusiasm but the volume speaks volumes. You might get a few PIs willing to have a small punt but apart from that this is just going to hover around the 1.5-1.8p mark. I would love it to substantially increase, perhaps later this Summer?
Re: premier looking for NS assets. Whilst I agree with TSEng's view of Value, a company is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. When they are vulnerable ( not suggesting HUR are) what you want and what you get doesn't necessarily match. Anyhow rumours of or preditorial acquisitions are always sweeping the markets, I don't take too much notice as timescales can be huge.
Techfan; joking about plane disasters is sick. Obviously a prepubescent boy from the city
Did Harriet Mann really call Afren an AIM explorer?
Come on Shorters you need to get your fingers out or they will be burnt off.
