Yes, but who is lending and who is borrowing? Get to the bottom of that and you have it!
Then why did 'respected' II's lend stock to an unknown party to a value of 6% of market cap? Doesn't it all come back to the UK (where batman always spends his Easter)
And, who is lending these shares? We don't have that many 6% holders (or maybe a couple of them). Are they so disloyal with our (fund investors) money?
If shorters account for 6%, then sometime they have to purchase c. 360 million shares. What if we don'sell? That's the best remedy. Just push that price up and burn them!
