Hola Spuddy, I envy you being in Madrid, not just for the weather
78k of Providence shares traded on ISEQ today. This is much higher than normal for ISEQ. Does anyone know if there's a way to determine buys and sells on ISEQ?
Hi Spuddy, hope the weekend went well, did you try contacting Providence today?
@ Shadow, per Providence website, investor relations section, as at 11th July, Sir Anthony O'Reilly held 15.45%. It lists a number of institutional investors. My understanding from previous posts is that only about 20% of the shares are available for trading on any given day.
Spuddy, it's downright scary. I console myself that the volumes are low. There's a part of me that consoles myself in the belief the deal was agreed just over 2 months ago. If you remember there were large buyers in the market every Friday for about 4 weeks on the trot. Volumes topped 1m.
@ Mmmm - Hynotoad posting to a different board which feeds through to this one. He can't see your comment. Agree, until announcement one way or the other, we have to ride the storm.
Without actually saying it, I think all the indicators given by Providence and in fairness LOGP, San Leon (and even Fastnet and Cairn who are not party to B'roe) are that a deal will be done and done in time to allow drilling on a number of prospects in Irish waters in 2015. As such deal is probably done and awaiting legals/regulatory.
Good morning Spuddy, another slow day watching the PVR kettle I always start the week with high expectations and they diminish as the week goes on. Mainly due to fact I doubt they would announce major news to markets on a Friday. Looks like we're out of luck this week. I posted a while back that I had spoken to business editor of national newspaper and he said oil companies totally control what info they release.
Evening Spuddy, would be great !!! I see Hypnotoad also mentions Exxon past due to announce future work program for Dunquin.
