Shadow, how did you get him to accept? I normally ignore anyone I don't know on Linkedin.
There was talk a while back that Providence were talking to private equity as opposed to a major/mid size oilie. This would tie in very nicely with that. Had a look at Sequa NV financial reports and they signed their obly deal on 31st January, could this be the new date for our diaries ???
Sit tight: Hola Spuddy, how are things today? Nice to see some potential upside amongst all the doom and gloom One RNS is all it'll take either way.
Spuddy/Godot, know we've spoken and the general consensus is that deal must nearly be concluded, as PVR couldn't be that reckless. As such, the current price must be great value. Are either of you (or anyone reading this) tempted to buy ??? I would love to, but I've been averaging down and now have more exposure than I'm comfortable with (aka "scared").
Spuddy, well done and thanks for the update. Going to make a call myself later.
Agree with you Godot, but when deal done will breathe a big sigh of relief and sell asap.
Godot, what happens if Cairn decide to drill SP, then PVR on the hook for €20m, with Melody finance expecting payment next June. If no deal, then the only option to keep the company going is to raise funds through share placing. I can't see any business person, let alone someone earning €500k being that reckless .... the deal must be done ??
Spuddy (continued) also have some good Spanish friens, so would love to do the trip over. Would be able to if PVR could do the deed. Going to blast off some e-mails tomorrow. Still think there has to be a deal there, they couldn't be that daft and then manage to find someone even dafter to loan them the money. Mind you, there's one born every minute, just hope in this case it isn't me ........ Hasta luego
