Morning all, it is a disgrace Breezy I agree. It's hard to know what to do for the best now. Do we bail out having been here 3 years having missed the opportunity to take profit, or just sit it out. The Kabwe debacle could end up being an opportunity but then again with JLP's past history I doubt it. Not feeling very positive at the moment boys. Good luck all.
2.75p a pitiful state of affairs - lost for words - pathetic.
The webcasts are a waste of time, they raise more questions than they answer, and are poorly executed. They need shut of CB and a heavyweight to come in and move this company forward. They also need to employ a decent PR agent to get news out accurately and in a timely and efficient manner.
Morning Wiseguy, thanks for the info, it helps to understand a persons perspective on a share when you are aware of their exposure and how long they have been invested. I completely understand your frustrations. That's a big chunk of cash invested. Like you, I don't need my cash out but I'm nursing a £45k loss over the last 5 years £15k on CPP and £30k on BHR (who went pop) I could really do with this one coming good at some point in the future. I wish us all well but I don't like to see this floundering around when there are other shares out there on the rise. All the best idg69
This share price and the weather are really getting me down. Wiseguy - what' your exposure to JLP, are you in deep? and how long have you been invested. I've been here 3 years now having started buying at 1.5p. I got giddy and averaged 'up' to 2.92 when things got interesting. I'm patient but fed up now as I'd like to see some profit. Was happy to sit this out whilst the price was stable above the 4p mark, but this latest BMR debacle is an avoidable mess. The due diligence was woeful.
3p finish and back in profit - just. Won't get excited just yet. Reading what MutleyWalters has to say and I agree 100%. CB should step aside and they should bring in someone with a more professional front to the business. Someone who the markets would respect and most importantly believe in.
Hi Breezy, yes I'm in the red today too for the first time in 2 and a half years. Could not have envisaged this decline. I have an issue with CB but not so much LC. They need someone above LC to do the heavyweight corporate stuff and let LC focus on the day to day operation stuff making things happen on the ground. LC can't do everything, it's not possible and CB is too long in the tooth to be taken seriously by the institutional investors - just my opinion of course. I'd take 6p to walk away from this and look at other opportunities elsewhere. Good luck my friend and wishing you well. idg69
2.79p at close - absolutely pitiful state of affairs. Should really be topping up and averaging down but I can't see any upside in the short term and can see this going back to 2 - 2.5p I'm sad to say. Are you still invested Breezy or are you out? I expected a pull back after the Tjate news last March but not a 4p drop.
Wiseguy - They never learn AND they don't give a hoot for their shareholders. This company has so much potential in my view but their professionalism and PR is diabolical. I quite like LC, I think he's a stand up guy who knows what he's doing. CB does not instil confidence and has his fingers in too many pies.
Another dismal week goes by as a JPL shareholder. Was tempted to add more at these levels but can't bring myself to do it whilst the BMR debacle plays out. With my positive head on it could be an opportunity for JPL but then again it might not. I'll keep taking the patient pills and watch on in anticipation.
