Good morning Breezy, I'm out of SXX as of Friday night which was a late call. I missed my big opportunity to double and run as I have been away on business. I bought 2k at 14p and should have sold straight away the morning after at 28p. It has since dropped like a stone and is dropping further today. I sold on Friday when I got back and made £500 (which is more than I ever made with BHR) SXX will pull right back now for some time until news of finance and progress. They need £1.7 billion and 5 years to build the infrastructure so it's not a share I want to be in right now as it will face massive dilution and delays and has the potential to go the same way has the BHR share price. I'll buy back in 2-3 years when things have progress further. Be careful with JLP and don't leave yourself over exposed in any one stock. I'm confident they will come good but we are dealing with an African company at the end of the day. All the best idg69
JLP can tick up quietly and slowly for me. The longer it remains under the radar the less chance the day traders and rampers have of getting involved. I'll just keep adding on a gradual basis from here on.
Oh happy day! Took a punt yesterday at 4.25pm before the closing bell having watched this for a couple of years. I only put in what I could afford to lose. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. I wish I'd put my house on it. 8 to 7 in favor was one close call though. Wouldn't have taken much or it to swing the other way. I wonder what time we'll be trading from? I shall certainly sleep easier this evening.
Evening Breezy, yesterdays punt on SXX might have been one of my better punts but won't know for sure until the markets open in the morning. The got planning consent by 8 to 7 in favor - that's a close call by anyone's standard. Hopefully it will sky rocket in the morning. I'll be taking some profit by the end of Thursday though. If you get up early in the morning you might be able to get some on the rise. I'll be trying for another grands worth myself but not confident I'll be able to buy any below 20p one the buying starts.
Watching the planning meeting, I can't believe these are the people that are going to make judgement on a multibillion pound business going ahead. It is mental. These people are not professionals. It's like bad school governer meetings.
Anybody watching this comedy over on twitch? the narrative down the right side by the bloggers is so funny. The planning committee are a complete bunch of duffers. Why can't the team from Sirius step in and add some professionalism to the proceedings.

I admit he's not Chubby Brown, but this is quite a serious presentation and the decision makers won't respond to humor. They could vote no, I agree, especially knowing the type of people that sit on these committees. My ex-father in law was a planning bod at Whitby council and he was a complete tool.
