Breezy you must be tickled pink this evening - Alkane being bought out at 36p - tidy profit if you bought in the mid to low 20's. Well done my friend! and JLP slowly climbing North. Crack open a bottle this evening and enjoy the moment - God knows you need it after the last couple of years. All the best and I couldn't be happier for you. Well done matey. idg69
Evening Breezy - what happened this afternoon? Just goes to show you need to keep your nerve on this one. At one point this morning at 2.85 I was tempted to sell and take some profit as it was nearing my 2.4 average. How sick would I have been feeling at a 3.42 close. You just can't call this one as it can turn on a sixpence and very quickly. May be an RNS in the morning, maybe not, who knows. I can muster another 3k but I would need it back out before Christmas. Would like to think we'll be up at 8-10p by then but it's a gamble I'm not sure I want to take. I'll sleep on it and see where tomorrow takes us. All the best, idg69
Morning Breezy, It's difficult to know what to do and it's easy to be wise after the event. Hindsight says we should have taken some profit on the recent climb but we didn't. If all the news drops together and it's positive, you won't see this share for dust and it'll spike big time. If you're not around to buy on the news you can easily miss the boat. If it drops to 2.5 then I'll buy another grands worth, if it doesn't, I'm prepared to just hold what Ive got for the medium term. This predicting the future lark is really difficult. Anyone can look at historical charts and say what they should have done, looking ahead and acting on the now is far more difficult. All the best idg69
Good evening Breezy and welcome back from your jollys. Hope you had a great trip. You have echoed my sentiments exactly. You can guarantee if we'd sold up at 5p and taken the profit it would have continued to rise and we'd be priced out of future gains. The slide back to 3p is frustrating but I'm not overly concerned for the future. I topped up at 5p so I'm kicking myself a little but it is what it is. JLP have great long term potential and I wish the short termers would head off and chase a quick buck elsewhere. If it stays down at 3p at the month end I'll put another grand in and just sit back and wait. Good luck my friend and best wishes to you and the family. idg69
Come on JLP meet your targets and get some good news out into the marketplace. This will continue to slide south until the news comes through. Very frustrating, just need to sit tight and be patient - easier said than done.
George - don't worry, be happy. No share goes up from the day you buy in (well very rarely in my experience) I thought you put £511 in here. I did say AIM stocks can be very volatile and this would be a roller coaster with lots of ups and downs. Kick back and relax my friend you'll be OK in the long term. Don't watch the daily charts either - it will send you mental. Forget about this and come back in 12 months when the revenue from the tailing projects starts to come in. Have a good day, idg69
Good move? Morning George - It should be in the medium to long term though you need to be prepared for some short term instability as AIM stocks are very volatile. If the good license and finance news drops this week it will sky rocket north, but then be prepared for the big sell off as this will spike and then come back down before climbing again. It is difficult to do but this is really a bottom drawer share at this price to be put away and looked at 12-36 months down the line when the revenue starts to come in. Good luck my friend and be prepared for a roller coaster ride. all the best idg69
georgehissi - Only you can decide that my friend.
Would it be a good time to buy? - You may not get a lower price. If the imminent license and finance news drops next week you'll be lucky to get in under 5p again. I bought a big chunk at 1.5p and had a further top up at just under 5p. The 5p purchase was regrettable as I should have held on and bought under 4p a week later. I'm not worried medium to long term as if everything comes off as planned then JLP will be back in double figures pretty soon.
Have a great holiday breezy and forget about JLP. I'm sure all will fall into place, it may just take a little longer than we had originally anticipated. Nothing happens fast in Africa.
