Red across the board this morning with Lonmin really taking a hit. JLP holding up OK at the moment. If Lonmin go under, which is is looking more probable, if not in the short term, then JLP could really fly next year.

Evening Breezy, I'm glad I'm in JLP and not Lonmin. Lonmin shareholders will be all but wiped out if they don't exercise the rights issue. At least the PI's get the option to buy which us BHR mugs never had. I'm quietly confident that Jubilee could really come on stream in 2016 and start to really head north. A 30m market cap good quickly rise to 150m with the 2 tailings projects alone. Fingers crossed all comes good for us. Cheers idg69

I have refrained from looking at the price today until now - pleasantly surprised we are having a little climb. Can soon be snuffed out though. Sounds like Lonmin are having a torrid time and could go to the wall. That would leave a big hole in the supply of platinum and could be a shot in the arm for Jubilee next year. Tragic for the 35,000 employees though. Come on JLP do your stuff!

Hi Breezy - very quiet full stop. Very little talk on the boards, no news from the BoD and not a lot of trading going on. Someone needs to light a fire underneath this one to get it going. I keep a daily watch on the boards and google finance on the off chance the news drops but I'm not putting anymore money in at the moment. Truth is I don't have it right now. I'll just sit on what I have and hope for big gains next year. I'd love to see it sky rocket 10 fold like AFPO did so I could re-coup my losses and get out of the stock market for a while, but I don't think that will happen here. We live in hope. riddler24 - why are you posting about APC on the Jubilee Platinum live stream?

Looks like we are on the slide again. As long as we stay above 3p in the short term I'll be happy. Mining/commodities are out of favor and like an oil tanker will take a while to turn. People expected loads of positive news in the short term and because it hasn't come to fruition as quickly as they'd liked they will sell up and chase the dream elsewhere. I'm not so much bothered about the mining license just yet but knowing the finance for the 2 tailings projects has been secured would be more than welcomed. I'll sit this out for a year and two and see where we go in 2016. Good luck all. idg69

Looking on the positive side we are up on the day just over 7%, pretty much level where we started the week, 13% up on the month, pretty much level where we were 3 months ago, up 137% over 6 months and up 166% over the last year. Whilst we may not have received the news we are all waiting on, we are not in a bad place with JLP and heading generally in the right direction. Let's see what next week brings. All the best idg69

The nearer it gets to 2.85p the twitchier I get. I daren't say it will go back below 3p as that would be the kiss of death. Watched a great documentary on Netflix last night - Big Men. All about Kosmos energy finding the first OIl in Ghana and the trials and tribulations of doing business in Africa and bringing it to market. Very interesting indeed and really puts in perspective the pitfalls of doing business in Africa. Keeping the faith and hoping for good things. All the best idg69

A quiet days trading really. Short termers are selling out on lack of news. I'll bet they all piled in expecting an AFPO style rise multibagging over a short timescale when all the news came through of finance and licensing. Would be great to see this rise tenfold but it's not going to happen overnight - 2-3 years maybe if the commodities market improves and the demand for platinum increases with all those new hydrogen fuel cell cars. I'm staying long on this despite watching daily fluctuations.

Morning Breezy, our patience is being tested on this one. It's good to be in profit - up between 20-30% on this one which any regular private investor would be chuffed to bits with. I need big things to happen with JLP which I'm confident in time will happen. If my past mistakes have taught me anything, it's to be patient and not try and trade my way out of trouble. This can change so quickly as the last month has shown us. Day trading is for braver soles than me. I hope the reporting of the finance is just delayed due to red tape and admin and not because of anything more sinister. Good look matey, at least where in profit which is more than we can ever have said back in the bad old BHR days. In 18 months with BHR I didn't have one single day in the black, it went south from the day I bought in. JLP will come good it may just take longer than we'd all like. All the best pal. idg69
