Hi Breezy, I'm just a little twitchy watching it languish around at this level. My expectations for this year were set quite high and I really thought this would take off with the tailings plants coming on stream. The market won't react until JLP publish the numbers. I can't see much profit in chrome but platinum is another story as you say. I'll hold on for the time being and see where we get to by the year end. All the best and enjoy the sunshine over the weekend.
Was feeling quite chuffed with myself when I topped up at 2.95p - not that good a deal in hindsight. Only the approval of the mining license will spark any interest in this share. I'm tempted to sell up and convert back to cash. I'm worried about the wider global economics and the general slowdown.
Boy, this is so frustrating! Can't bring myself to sell up and move on, on the off chance the license news does eventually come through and the price spikes. The real long term holders can't have any hair left, they must have pulled it all out by now.
Well that little rise didn't amount to anything did it! A cough and a splutter and back down she comes. The Bod should really provide solid hard facts and figures when they put out an RNS otherwise not bother.
Hi Breezy, the UBI thing was a close call, got out with a slight profit which was a good/lucky call. I nearly bought UBI when they were up between £1.80-£2.80 that would have hurt on top of my BHR losses. I now need just shy of 18p from JLP for all my losses to be cleared. It could happen and quite quickly if the Tjate licence drops on the mat. CPP went from 3p to 27p a few years back so it is doable with a bit of good news. Timing your exit is just as important as your buy in. I'll worry about that when the opportunity presents itself. All the best. idg69
Morning Breezy, might have just inadvertently timed a decent top up. Bought another 45,750 at 2.95 not realising the RNS had been put out at 11am. I'm holding tight at 300,000 shares now and will see where we go. It hasn't made any significant difference to my average either. Have a good day matey and let's see where e go from here. All the best, idg69
Hi Breezy, I really don't know what to think on the share options, most companies have a favourable share options scheme for employees, but I don't know enough/anything about the proposed number of shares that are possibly on offer and whether this results in yet more dilution - I presume it does, but to what extent I don't know. We do seem to be just about holding up at 2.8p but for how long I don't know. The markets are all over the place at the moment with some massive losses for some and some weird gains for others. It's all down to timing as to when you buy in. Look at Lonmin, if you bought at the bottom at 38p you'd be quids in big time now, whilst everyone else was seriously under water. It's the same with JLP, if you started when we did around 1.5p it's not too bad at 2.8, but if you bought years ago at 15-30p and averaged down on false dawns and promises you'd be well hacked off with the BoD and thoroughly frustrated. Truth is, I'd like to be out of the market altogether but until I claw back some of my losses Im staying put and will ride it out. Have good weekend yourself and let's see where we get to next week. All the best matey. idg69
2.8p - Take a deep breath and relax. There's nothing much else you can do. I did expect a bit of a steady rise this year with finance sorted and production coming on stream but it's not looking that way at the moment. Patience is the order of the day, let's hope we are rewarded for it.
Evening Breezy, it could be madness or a very shrewd move - only time will tell. I've just been hit today with an unexpected repair bill on the wife's car so that's put paid to any top ups this month - a big chunk of my rainy day fund has now gone. You're spot on about the license news igniting the share price. I think it will more than double. Our market cap is so low at 28m. With the license in place for a resource conservatively valued at over 1 billion, this could multiply 5 or 10 fold. It'll spike big time then pull back significantly before rising again in the long term - that's my prediction for what it's worth. I only hope the license comes through before the big global meltdown so I can cut and run. Mines going under the mattress for a few years. The next crash will make the 2008 banking crisis look like a minor blip. The whole world is over extended and a big (massive) correction is coming our way. I also think we need to be out of Europe when it does. This is just my opinion and I could be wrong of course. Good luck to you and lets keep everything crossed for some big gains this year. All the best idg69
