2.68p is pitiful for a company that is supposed to be going places this year. We stay flat when the rest of the market tanks and go down when the rest go up. The RNS's are almost a waste of time as well, they are so ambiguous and raise more questions than they answer. I hope our patience is rewarded and soon.
Ignore that last post. Meant to say, Every time we climb north to the 3.5p mark I think this is it, we are on the move only to see it drop back below 3p. I know the Brexit result as spooked a lot of investors but we really shouldn't be affected too much. Even if we get news from JLP it rarely has the desired effect. We slide south on silence and a cough and a splutter north on scant news. We need some solid and truthful financials to really understand how this years production is moving the company forward. I'm concerned, frustrated and a bit fed up but daren't sell up just as production is coming on stream. I don't know what to do for the best.
Overtime we have a little climb north to the
Morning Breezy, What a week eh? Who could have seen that coming? The Brexit issue if not handled calmly and concisely is going to cause a bigger ripple than I had first envisaged. Long term we should be stronger (if managed well) but I fear it won't be. I'm not bothered about the football - we've been rubbish for years and if the fans aren't hardened to continued disappointment from the national squad now, they never will be. Keeping the faith (and my JLP shares) idg69
There's some cheap shares to be had this morning if your brave enough - I'll stick with JLP for the time being. All will come good in the long term if the fundamentals are good irrespective of whether we are in the EU or out. Looks like people have taken advantage of that little drop this morning and had a top up - good for them. All the best idg69
It's a big day today - in or out, up or down - we'll know for sure in 24 hours. Probably won't make a jot of difference to JLP either way. We'll still be stuck in no mans land. Keeping the faith (and some sanity) all the best idg69
Evening Breezy, not a great week and back to 3p where you rightly predicted. On reflection I'm not putting any more money into JLP though I'm happy to hold and see where the next 12 months takes us. I'm going to start putting some money in to AFC - I've been watching them for a few months now and at 11p look pretty cheap. Could be a good long medium to long term play in the renewables energy sector and certainly better than coal! Have a good weekend and all the very best. idg69
Morning Breezy, you were right when you said it was heading to 3p again. Cape hake's spot on - there is no interest in this share. It hasn't attracted the attention of any institutional investors and until it does we aren't going to see any significant movement. If it drops back nearer my 2.8 average I might buy another 50k.
Evening all, it's difficult to know what to do for the best with JLP - cash in yer chips now, take a little profit and sit on the cash for a while whilst the economy tanks - which it's going to. The danger is the worm really could turn and this could sky rocket on the license being eventually granted - you'd kick yourself having been hear all this time to then miss out on why we invested here in the first place. It's a really tough call my friend, we appear to be so close to the good times and money rolling in, yet the market sentiment around JLP is very flat. I can't advise as I feel the same way you do and don't know what to do for the best. I'm not loosing sleep like the good old BHR days, I'm pretty confident we're not going bust this time round. Keep yer chin up matey and all the best. idg69
