Good things come to he who waits - and waits, and waits, and waits, and waits! - Get the message?
Looks like nobody's trading today - everyone out enjoying the sunshine probably.
Evening Breezy, Just got back from 2 days at the Open Golf in Troon - even 2 days not looking at the share price gives me a lift, 16 days will be bliss. We can't do a thing about it so we should stop worrying about it - easier said than done. Have a great holiday and enjoy your time in the sun. Wishing you and yours all the very best. Kick back and relax - cheers, idg69
If JLP can achieve what they set out to achieve over the next 6-12 months it will/should be transformational. Would be great to see this company pull themselves out of the doldrums and become a serious mid-cap company. Many companies with a 5-year share chart like ours tend to fizzle out and die, but I really think JLP have their strategy right for a solid recovery. Fingers crossed and wishing them all the best. Let's move up and out of this trading range through, we've been here for too long.
Very low trading day today, just shy of 2m traded when we have nearly 1 billion shares is pretty poor. The frustrated will be selling up on lack of news. The BoD are very poor on news flow and what info they do release is not that concise. Never mind, at least we haven't had the massive hit some of had since the Brexit vote. Happy weekend to all. idg69
I take back my earlier post - at 3.16p I thought we were drifting back down to sub 3p again. Appears we have held our own today. Wish I'd bought Lonmin mid January - would be sat on a tidy profit today. Would have been one heck of a punt though, from 36p to £2.44 in less than 6 months. Thats the equivalent of JLP going from 3.6p to 24.4p - it can be done. I'd be saying good bye to the mortgage if that happens here.
And down she drifts - how did I know that was going to happen? Not to worry, we plod on regardless.
Good afternoon Breezy, just got back to the office having been out and about to see we've closed at 3.35p. What's brought that about me thinks? My thoughts are the same as yours - would be just our luck to sell out at 3.5p to see it sail on up and never come back down. You'd be kicking yourself for weeks if that happened. I've really got my finances in order this last 6 months and don't need any cash out of JLP for the foreseeable. I can sit this one out indefinitely now without worrying. 25p and I'd be out of here, nice to think that could happen (one day) I'd like to see 10-15p on our own merits before the license news drops, then it really would be happy days. Good luck my friend and all the very best to you and yours. idg69
Is something afoot or is this another rinse and repeat episode. We have seen so many of these 2.8 to 3.5 episodes over the last 6 months only to see it drop back before going through the same cycle. Each time it happens I keep thinking should I cash out at 3.5 and buy back lower. Surely at some point in the near future it has to pass the 3.5, 4p, 4.5p and climb out of this range. Come on JLP we know you can do it - all the building blocks are in place.
Cheers Steve, I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I'll stick this one out even if it takes 2 - 3 years. I just get a little frustrated from time to time with the lack of progress. I have to be realistic and remember that these big mining infrastructure projects don't happen overnight and take time to come on stream. Long term I think you'll be happy with a 3.7p average. If you're wearing your brave trousers you could always average down a little at sub 3p. Mine are at the dry cleaners plus I'm trying to keep one third of my money in cash at the moment - it helps me sleep better at night. Wishing you well my friend. idg69
