Hi Steve - Your comment made me laugh, If you new my past investment history you wouldn't be saying that - it's been a bit of a howler to say the least. I'm hoping JLP is my get out of jail card! Only time will tell. I'm down big time over the last 5 years but confident JLP will be my saviour!
Morning Steve, delighted you're back above break even - this always feels better than being underwater even if it's only a small amount. I'm quietly confident that JLP really have put their troubled years behind them but I'm avoiding getting too giddy at this stage. We nudged 4.5 - 5p in August 2015 only to pull back and flatline for 12 months though big progress has been made since then. I'll be happy when we are up and over 20p which is achievable when you look at where HMI have come from in the last few months. I'm going nowhere and happy to watch this tick up a few percent heart and there. I don't want big spikes as this attracts the pump and dump boys and JLP has years of solid growth ahead of it. Slow and steady will be fine with me. Have a good day and wishing you well. idk69
A nice solid start to the day - sentiment changing and hopefully for the long term. Let's now see a nice steady smooth curve north over the coming months and not the stop start coughs and splutters we've experienced over the last 12 months. Our patience may be rewarded after all. Good luck all.
HI Breezy, cracking holiday thanks - back home feeling much more relaxed for the break. The mood maybe changing but the share price isn't. I'm more than happy with a gentle tick up over a prolonged period rather than fireworks and the numpties jumping on board. I haven't seen todays webinar as yet as i've been working away from the office - I'll check it out this evening. I've got another 2 years before I need to remortgage so if it takes until then for JLP to fly then I'm OK with that, if it's 12 months then that's a bonus. Keep smiling and all the best. idg69
Cheers JaJa, I like the look of the IOG share chart for the year. Would be fantastic to think JLP could eventually get up into the 20's - 30's - I'd be mortgage free and could retire before I'm 50 - yippee! I've seen many of these small cap companies sky rocket only to find them come crashing back down when the pump and dump boys get involved. It's all about timing your exit and sticking to your strategy - easier said than done. I'm quite happy with my 2.8p average and will be adding more if this pulls back to 3p. If it doesn't then I'll keep what i've got. Good luck and all the best. idg69
Cheers JaJa - That's great news! any idea when and by how much? I'd like about 15p adding to the current share price if that's OK. Looks like the SXX tree is getting a good shaking this afternoon, just goes to show how quick things can change.
I really don't get the massive rise in SXX from 12p to touching 50p in 6 months. I wish I'd kept my holding at 14p - what a clot I am stuck here waiting for this turkey to have it's day when all around others are on the rise. JLP has to be on the cusp of something big happening? doesn't it? I'm not prepared to sell up and chase the dream elsewhere at this stage, it's too risky. Sirius are at least 4-5 years from any mining taking place and will need billions to keep it afloat in the meantime - I just don't get it. Keeping the faith with JLP for the foreseeable. All the best idg69
Good morning Breezy, hope you had a good break and are now suitably chilled and relaxed. Nothing to report here, more of the same flatlining but at least we're not going backwards. I'm away myself for a week from Saturday and won't be watching the charts or in front of any computer screens. I'm happy to sit this out for a year or 2 more if needs. I don't need the money out so it can sit and mature here rather than the bank. Enjoy the weekend and all the very best. idg69
Trading volume is extremely low. Trautw - I'm OK treading water until some big news drops. As you say, at least we're not sliding backwards. Patience in spades is required here at the moment - easier for the newbies than it is for the long term holders.
Only when JLP can demonstrate (with actual financials) that they are making money - i.e. it's profit and not revenue that counts here, will this share take off. The building blocks have been coming together now for over 2 years but investor patience is wearing thin - even with newbies, and I count myself as one having been here 18 months. The long term boys over on LSE are thoroughly fed up and rightly so. It's great news that platinum is on the rise but as of yet we haven't produced any of the stuff. I'm fed up with the current trading range but prepared to hold on until Hernic comes on stream later this year and the figures come through in 2017. Keep calm and carry on. all the best idg69
