6% of the company shares changing hands is not just noise... it will be very interesting to see who has bought and sold these shares. Gives a good indication of confidence or not in the company from institutional shareholders.
They did accrue for it in the accounts. You are mixing up cash flow and accountancy principles there. I have no problem with Jimmy or anyone having a rant or a go at the company when its justified. But their is the main point that Spuddy brings up of WHY IS JIMMY Posting. He does not have the same interest as us. As he owns no shares, So why post the same stuff about debt, compartmentalisation etc every week. Also his arguments have been countered on many occasions sucessfully and he just keeps reposting the same stuff. As they say if you throw enough **** some of it sticks!
I have a picture in my mind of Jimmy going door to door in Ireland, spreading the word of COMPARTMENTALISATION to the masses!
Last two weeks as the share goes up over 10% a day these lads slate the rise as pathetic. It goes down 10% this morning and its a 'massive drop'. I wonder who is paying them to post. Or is it that they are selling short?
"Barryroe is a very big structure, and it is already known to have 60 million barrels of recoverable oil. "It wasn't developed in the past because of two issues, one was a fear about compartmentalisation, and the second was the wax content." He adds: "So this well, and the programme we've pursued for the past eighteen months, was designed to shoot those two things down." O'Reilly explains that this has been achieved. He says the reservoir has been demonstrated to be less compartmentalised than anyone previously thought and the waxy crude oil won't be an issue either. "It is a heat control issue. In the past, during the seventies, it would have been a technical challenge and a cost issue, but the technology has come on in leaps and bounds since then. "And with modern technology and today's oil prices (anything above US$30) it is not a problem at all."
There are a few lads who seem to tee him up as well. Not sure how many times Jimmy has given a lecture on here about compartmentalisation. But I do remember someone who went to an AGM posting in direct conflict to Jimmy's lectures and stating it was not an issue with the Barryroe field
In fairness I and others have been waiting for a long time for something to happen here, we have all been burned by this share, so there is no way we are throwing more money in with this rise. So who is buying these small volumes? and why? I reckon its small fry who have heard something positive. But its not taking off as too many have been burned previously for the bandwaggon to get going without an RNS
In fairness this isn't a one day increase. The last two weeks or so this has slowly moved up from 12p at about 5% a day.
Hi Mmmm think the fact that the indians are back looking at Barryroe is validation that its viable
