maybe I'm missing something, but the way I see it our board have bought very few shares , yet they are extremely upbeat about our future prospects but they sre not investing, am I the only one who believes that this is a big con job by our board to keep this company alive purely for to pay salaries. All of this talk of drilling is just to keep us all on board as Mamms says its just a big punt, but hey who cares the directors who have few shares keep getting paid. The shareholders are the butt of the joke.
Re I told you so. So many of the regular posters here deluded themselves for long, trying to turn every bit of negative news into a positive, if you invest/gamble on shares , you need to use logic and common sense, not hope and dreams. Far too many optimists on this board.
Hi Spuddy, So glad to see that your "still believing" but you know Tor would find it hard to find another bunch of mugs to pay him 500k a year, so I still believe he will fill us full of promises for as long as possible, and when he has completely exhausted every fund raise opportunity and there's no more coffers left , he will simply disappear.
"few weeks or month" statement from Tor really means nothing as he has no control or influence in relation to sequa,s funding issue. One thing is for sure, if we don't get some positive news soon this share price will start to slide again.
Excellent report Spuddy, however I would have to agree with Mmmmms post on this one, really nothing to get excited about from Egm, I take it directors remuneration wasn't mentioned, will keep the champagne on ice with this one methinks.
Re Idiot, If you could stay in a job for years , get paid 500k per year and lose money for the company, would you be an idiot?
Morning Spuddy, I hope your right. I do feel however that we need to manage our expectations with regard to the share price rise , could be a long time before this share even reaches a quid imo.
I think that there is little doubt that the share price will rise if there is a broe farmout, the thing is if we have to give away alot of broe and the amount of cash we recieve is less than we would have expected, the share price rise may not be that much particularly when you factor in the extra shares being issued. I don't want to be too negative but I wouldn't be too surprised if we give away alot of broe for very little in return, and the management will come out and tell us that in this market thats the best we could expect.
Yes Spuddy/Alpha, your quite right, far too much negativity on this board, can't for the life of me understand it myself, we should focus on all the positives. 1 the company is loved and valued by the market. 2 we have income producing assets. 3 We have a very skilled, knowledgeable, competent management in place. 4 Our Bod have a history of success and we are very well funded. Now no more negative post's.
This company has shown itself to be incapable of actually making money or creating any sort of wealth for its shareholders, why should any of us believe that this is all going to change any time soon just because the management have organised a fundraiser. This new money will keep the lights on and the high wages paid a bit longer, and thats whats really important to our board, why should they care about the share price when they haven't bought any themselves in ages, participating in this share offer is throwing good money after bad imo.
