Unlike you I am not a long term investor . If we see 1.50 you might see me on the horizon wearing a big smile. If you are concerned with p/e ratios do not touch growth stocks. I am told the Ocado,s p/e is quite high by the way. I wish shares were logical and we could all make millions like Warren Buffet. The liquidity of the market sometimes just not cope and I think reason and logic go. I now think these have returned.
The close is 1.03- 103.25. Nick you must check your facts . Blinkx have already refuted the comments of the blog in a statement. At the San Fran conference the same happened. Why do Goldman or Citi have no choice? . They are not reliant on Blinkx and could walk or downgrade should they want. They have not and do you not think a 62 per cent fall is already building in very bad news. I repeat. This is a unique situation and in my opinion represents the weakness in the market system. i remember when Rockhopper halved over a lunchtime about three years ago and then bounced. This blinkx fall is worse though.
Forget the idea of a strong statement. This blog happened 3 weeks ago . Why does the market assume the worst? Does Numis,Goldman, Citi assume the worst with their analysis? . They are the market.
Nick . Not at all. You must take on board the sheer size of this fall . Have you seen anything on this scale ? . The reaction the other way will also be strong. I still stand by my 1.40. By the way I am not a natural optimist and actually prefer being short. This situation here is one of the oddest I have seen in 30 years.
The mood and sentiment have changed . Next week will be kind to us bulls. I said earlier 1.25 but I predict 1.40. Where are you Haystack ?. I hope you closed out your bear before the long weekend.
nice one haystack. If you are short , which I doubt , you should be very careful.
Quite a unique situation on this share. I am struggling to remember a share which has fallen some 60 per cent on a third party opinion which is denied. Grossly oversold for a growth stock in a dynamic sector. I am looking for 1.25 next week.
