FNR is doing the same with Solo hey have not had an RNS since 18 December, the same thing has happened to their share price, it has drifted down, they say no news is good news but in the case of NR i say no news is bad news , stay long and strong.

About the placing... The first question that comes to mind is why the paltry sum and not more. I tend to agree with several posters here that it is to secure the senior debt and likely LGO needs to pass a 'stress test' set by the lending bank in view of the current oil price. If so, what makes this senior debt a must have? I can only think of only two. One, that a major acquisition is on the cards hence the needs for large funding or two, LGO needs the funds to start a drilling campaign in Cedros which has been mentioned many times and again in yesterday's RNS. Just my two cents worth.

I think that anyone with any sense can see who is who on here or any other BB that is anyone who has done their research, none of us are responsible for what will happen to oil prices, but it was not long ago that they were saying the world is running out of oil and that was the reason for increasing the price of oil, now we have fraking and it is eating into their profits so what do they do, they cant stop them from fraking but what they can do is get the price of oil down so low that it puts them out of business then they go back to saying the price will have to go up because of the world shortage.

Perhaps this will act as a counter balance against the falling oil price. [link]
