Well the way this is moving we could hit 1 pound again pretty quick. And if a deal has been done it will shoot way past 1.60. Just think that with only 65m shares the deal only needs to give a NPV of 107million for you to break even. And last year they nearly did a 1 billion pound deal!
POSITIVE, POSITIVE but i need this back at £ 1.60 + to be able to sleep without Jameson
Looks promising to me! What you think of this shadow?
More volume by 9.41 today than all yesterday. Really think we are near to a deal. Irish company setup, debt been raised ...
Godot, Fernan_10 is on another board and i dont think he will be able to see your response........been very quiet on here lately
Most companies have a mix of equity and debt. Sequa are raising 300m in debt. The rest of the funding is coming from Equity. PVR wouldn't be able to raise sufficient debt to finance the production of Barryroe. Thats why they need a bigger fish to come into the project with them.
It is a great move by them really. It makes them more independent when it comes to a farmout, as they would have enough money to drill another well , and hopefully continue on from there
Phonner, the good thing here is our board had the foresight to go with private equity. If we were going with an oilie there would be a riak of them cutting capex as they would no longer have the cashflow to sustain (see link posted earlier). With Sapinda they have the equity and have to make investments in order to make a return. It may yet prove to be genius by our BOD.
I thought the Phoenix article was very upbeat as well. I suppose the low oil price is sucking the confident out of the share price, but historically the price always seems to come back in about six months. In one way it is in none of the oil producers interests to be selling their product at half price.
Godot, meant to say it the other day, nice succinct summation of the financial impact on PVR of the Transocean judgment
