Atleast someone is praising TOR, the most disaster CEO he lied so many times and achieved nill; along with II's he is scooping entire asset and throwing general public to bin. How could he allocate 66 million shares at 25p by leaving general public aside. Now II's will be happy and he will retain his CEO position for few more years
Gentlemen I'm fed with people downing this management they have discovered many good assets and your arguements will all change if farmout goes through remember tullow could not get a farmout for their huge Ten field but they were able to do it huge loans thats why their shares have dropped too and also the problem with the Ivory Coast good luck
Re Idiot, If you could stay in a job for years , get paid 500k per year and lose money for the company, would you be an idiot?
Morning Spuddy, I hope your right. I do feel however that we need to manage our expectations with regard to the share price rise , could be a long time before this share even reaches a quid imo.
I think that there is little doubt that the share price will rise if there is a broe farmout, the thing is if we have to give away alot of broe and the amount of cash we recieve is less than we would have expected, the share price rise may not be that much particularly when you factor in the extra shares being issued. I don't want to be too negative but I wouldn't be too surprised if we give away alot of broe for very little in return, and the management will come out and tell us that in this market thats the best we could expect.
O’Reilly hopes it will be a matter of weeks, or a month, until Providence can open up to the market about the deal. This quote is from 25th of February. 15 days down. two more weeks to go for news I'm thinking. maybe the best time to buy in to this is now....
Anovas: That is a very interesting article. I suppose we have not long to wait now, just on till the end of the month and then we will get a clearer sight of the lie of the land.
I suppose the thing with the big investors taking up the placement is that they are getting most of the company for relatively small money. From their point of view worth taking the chance as they may feel that once oil recovers it will be a worthwhile investment.
