I suppose if they manage to get the drilling proposal from an alliance of interests up and drilling it would be a big help. I find John O' Sullivan's comment that it is has to be done soon, or it will be too late to do it this year, very honest. I remember when the share price fell from something like sixty pence to forty pence, he seemed genuinely shocked. I think he is someone who says it like it is, perhaps to the annoyance of the rest of the board, but I think his comments show an underlying faith in the company.

@ Sobeit - they're talking about deep water drilling costs. Barryroe is not considered deep water.

So when is the next placing to keep the lights on?

Can anyone realistically see any sort of good out come besides a takeover at this stage?

It will take more than magic to save PVR.
