Yes, but who is lending and who is borrowing? Get to the bottom of that and you have it!
it is sad that some jokers like gotham city can create such havoc
I do medicolegal work for quindell group and can say that they have a strong business model always pay on time and their business is growing rapidly
Then why did 'respected' II's lend stock to an unknown party to a value of 6% of market cap? Doesn't it all come back to the UK (where batman always spends his Easter)
And, who is lending these shares? We don't have that many 6% holders (or maybe a couple of them). Are they so disloyal with our (fund investors) money?
If shorters account for 6%, then sometime they have to purchase c. 360 million shares. What if we don'sell? That's the best remedy. Just push that price up and burn them!
does anyone know the total of open shorts (including this week? I guess they all have to close at some stage, and there seem to be massive volumes of stock to find. Won't this put upward pressure on the SP? Or am I just stupid?
I bought in at 33p if we get back there I will sell - this is far too risky a stock for my current appetite. Treadstone is right on the depth of the accusations - I can't see this being a good news story from here.
