No Influence . In over 20 years of casual investing I don't think I've witnessed anything like this share manipulation. It would appear that a handful of traders have total control over the pricing irrespective of fundamentals and market sentiment. Don't quite understand how the Company, it's Advisors, or us long suffering investors can counter this manipulation. Using their technical description of 'Shorters' seems too mild a term - let's henceforth refer to them as 'Wreckers', they wreck the SP; they wreck confidence; they wreck people's finances and, I have no doubt, they have wrecked a few people's lives in the last few weeks. It certainly seems that the Company, in particular, has no counter to their stranglehold and the SP will just be positioned to suit the Wreckers own agenda.
Can someone answer the following please: Am I right in saying that once in the FTSE, bear attacks like we've seen will not and cannot happen? ie the only thing severely affecting the SP good or bad is the performance of the company itself? Would appreciate any answers to this.
XLM results on monday, worth a look. Has been compared to PLUS
