Watching Elon Musk at the AGM I felt reading between the lines these 2 things stuck out. His whole aim is a high volume affordable electric car that he can't make yet because demand outstrips his production capacity. 2 is I feel he wants to provide his "drive train" to other car manufacturers. The GigaFactory is his ONLY option to satisfy both scenarios. Hence hi consumption of Lithium is going to be gigantic..... if ONLY he had his OWN mine too????????
