and if no share holder would benefit, why would any current shareholders vote for the dilution?
apart form the BOD which of the current shareholders would benefit from this share dilution?
Ah correct board. I have only 377,490 BHR shares in my account worthless than 75 pounds now I phoned barclays and voting no to all resolutions,no problem. Anything to annoy the BOD
Have just spoken with Halifax i-Web and voted No for all 4 resolutions and this hasn't cost me a penny. Which is more than can be said for my BHR shares!
Unfortunately everything is guesswork as far as BHR is concerned and has been for some years now. Will they go under, will they survive and at what cost? only the inner sanctum of the BoD and the big PI's know the true state of play and they're not going to change tack and start telling the truth now - that would be out of character. I'm not holding out much hope. Romanof your comment regards mothballing the company is spot on just 12 months behind the mark. They should have suspended everything 12 months ago and laid off staff. If Google finance is accurate they have 212 staff on the payroll - that is a lot of mouths to feed and for goodness sake what do they do all day? Christmas last year was bleak for BHR shareholders, this year is going to be a whole lot bleaker after the resolutions on the 17th go through.
You are are right to feel cheated Breezy, as I do. The RNS's were blatant lies when you look back over them and you can only invest on what information you are provided with by the company. I had this company down for a recovery play as did a lot of brokers, and not the basket case it has become. The no campaign won't yield results for us PI's as all the backroom shinanigans have already been taken care of in my opinion. I really do wish you well my friend as we are both facing the same financial hit on this one.
Hi Breezy, I'm not selling up at this stage. As of this morning my £31k was worth £600 too. I can't do much with £600 so I'll just hold them indefinately on the off chance something happens 1 to 2 years down the line. I've written them off in my head anyway now. We have been robbed matey, though no one forced our hand to invest in this shower. I only have myself to blame. What I have done here goes against all my better judgements and I must have taken leave of my senses. Sad to say it was greed on my part to get rich quick instead of sitting it out with RBS, Lloyds and Taylor Wimpey on the FTSE100 - looking at where they are today makes my stomach churn to think what could have been.
yoyo - you must be looking at different charts my friend! If you bought yesterday at 0.022, with the spread on this share you won't be making profit today if you sell. I wish you well in your endeavours but be careful were BHR are concerned and take this in this spirit it is given and from someone who knows.
if you bought it at 0.022 yesterday now you can sell it at that price that is a big movement
