Maxoscar1 - I hold 12 mining companies and they've all suffered like this. Minera IRL will not just survive but will thrive, and soon. This is one that can do well even if gold price drops further. Buy low, sell high!
It's always a long process to start a gold mine. Minera IRL has done a brilliant job in a horrible gold climate. The next very big catalyst is financing for Ollachea. This should easily double or triple this stock and maybe much more. There will be catalysts on the way to construction and at some point not yet decided, perhaps after construction is started or before, more exploration drilling will occur to expand this resource. Ollachea has the potential to be a giant. Minera IRL has the potential to be a 10 or 20 bagger. That's why I'm here, adding when I can, and holding.
I've been holding almost as much as Windrush for well over a year waiting for financing. With only a month to go, to sell now would be crazy.
No one wants to sell because this stock should be double by this time next month. Some are willing to day trade. Some buyers are scared financing will be delayed again. I am convinced it will be announced in a month at the quarterly. They have said so. They have multiple options for financing so it's just choosing the deal and closing the deal.
I heard that the conference call will be November 7th. Financing to be announced that day.
Windrush - that was President Diego who said by end of October. I don't think Courtney said that. They want to announce it in their conference call. Giving them a bit more time is a good thing in this environment. There are options - they just want to get a good deal because once it's done, that's the deal they work under for the next 10 years +
They've said many times that equity won't be used until after the main part of the financing is arranged. They said they will let some time pass after financing before that.
If anyone hasn't seen the presentation done by the President Diego Benavides last week, you can google "colorado precious metals summit" and watch it. Two notable things: 1-They might not finalize financing until October, but that's still close; and 2-He said "Our geologist thinks (at Ollachea) we're really a 5 million oz project!!!!!! Holy major gold mine batman! We're only drawn to 1 million oz. Imagine if there really is 5 million oz there!!
At the Colorado presentation yesterday, the President, Diego said "we have a number of interesting proposals for financing". He also mentioned something about making the decision by October by I didn't catch his exact words.
They have not taken the 100 mil yet because they want to try to get the whole package from one place. Companies like Sandstorm and Silver Wheaton want to do a royalty or stream along with the loan so accepting the 100 mil could prevent them from getting the deal they want. MIRL has various options and they have committed to choosing one so that all financing is in place before the end of September.
