Is Denso the Tier One CAP-XX are working with? In the March presentation CAP-XX said on page 14 "Global Tier-1 Automotive components company approached CAP-XX to licence a patent ? They have tabled initial offer of upfront license fee plus sliding scale royalty on sales ? Currently in active negotiation" Next to that comment they included a picture of a TOYOTA Hybrid with prominent Denso advertising. Denso Corporation (???????? Kabushiki-Gaisha Denso?) is a global automotive components manufacturer headquartered in the city of Kariya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.[4] After becoming independent from Toyota Motors, Nippon Denso Co. Ltd. (???????? Nippon Denso Kabushiki-Gaisha?) was founded in 1949. Despite being a part of Toyota Group of companies, as of 2014, sales to Toyota Group accounts for less than 50% of the total revenue (41.2% of the revenue originate from various car manufactures in Japan, Germany, U.S. and China).[5] Since 2009, Denso is the world's biggest auto-parts manufacturer by revenue.[6] As of 2013 Denso Corporation consisted of 184 subsidiaries (68 in Japan, 34 in the Americas, 34 in Europe and 48 in Asia/Oceania) with a total of 132,276 employees.[7] The company is further escalating its global production structure by establishing manufacturing complexes in India, Mexico and Indonesia in order to accommodate further global demand for their products.[8] In 2013 Denso was listed at #242 on the Fortune 500 list with a total revenue of $43.1 billion.[9] [link] Denso have been working on Stop Start technology for a long time and supercapacitors have been mentioned as a possibility [link] Denso used to be part of Toyota and are working closely with Toyota on the TS Hybrid known to be using supercapacitors [link] "That pioneering super capacitor technology has been extensively developed, reducing weight and increasing power, leading to the 1,000PS, four-wheel-drive TS040 HYBRID which has simultaneously reduced fuel consumption by 25% compared to 2013. In the new efficiency-focused LMP1 regulations, TOYOTA technology has triumphed, with the TS040 HYBRID winning five of its eight races and taking four pole positions, 12 podium finishes and four fastest laps. DENSO inverters and hybrid motors played a pivotal part in both World Championships."
