one of Mr Winnifrith’s known associates may well have shorted Worthington shares prior to the suspension. It is easy to see why the prospect of Worthington completing its transactions, and re-emerging from suspension on an altogether different scale, would be something that is potentially very worrying for anyone with a short position. We also intend to establish to what extent, if any, Mr Winnifrith has shared in any gains that his known associates may have made in the past as a result of similar attacks on other companies
