much cheaper and easier to fly a drone than have a cameraman hanging from ropes and pulleys or commissioning helicopters for the film crew.
also superb for camera work... used very extensively for film and tv now.
maybe CPX can help with battery life 
a team of 4 were holding a net, catching a ball and then working out where it had come from, and firing it back, almost perfectly to the demonstrators hand
drone delivery just seems a flawed concept... they will need to stop frequently for recharging, the postman however runs on tea and biscuits and can be quickly refuelled!
i watched a Ted talk re:drones a year or so back, they are very impressive
