Too many small investors smoking dope. The company's RNS of 4 March warned that a deal with creditors to keep the company afloat was expected to seriously dilute ordinary shareholders. Given that companies strenuosly try to put a gloss on any communication, I would believe them. It will be a miracle if the shareholders get out from under at this point.
I placed all my shares for sale at 50p to stop anyone using my shares for short trading......
so...all buys with no price increase.....
prices show as buys if executed at the ASK price, so ay MM can sell unlimited shares at the ask price with limit trades and they show up as buys eve though the MM will never allow the price to exceed the ASK because he has unlimited resources to keep selling to buyers
re Ookyfly: You are correct. Under Rule 35.1 of the Takeover Code, a lapsed offer or declared intent to make an offer, the Offeror cannot make a new offer for 12 months, unless they can be convince the Panel that they are an exception. Proves you never believe a word you read in the media, particularly re AIM companies.
I've seen a few references to bloggers here saying they have at times shorted the stock. I was under impression that shorting was generally unavailable to the retail investor unless you had a stock that dealt in Options. Are there brokers that will offer this?
