Re Blue Day: around 80% load factor on African LLC routes is pretty good actually. Its very rare for any schedule airline to have 100% load factor. I've recently flew on BA 319 with just 9 passengers. The point to remember is that 40% of Fastjet passengers have never flown before. Comparing it to Easyjet start-up is crazy, there operated on the London Glasgow Edinburgh routes which had been established by the BA hourly shuttle service years before, the demand was already there, in East Africa its not there yet, maybe 10 years away.
