Mattyboy - you are spot on! During the election campaign this won't be discussed due to fracking being so controversial. What they can easily get out of the ground will clear a third of the national debt and once they are able to show the huge benefits of this find the new government will do whatever it take to appease the public in terms of fracking. If it means getting even a further 10% out of the ground this will be tracked to the max. We are a oil greedy nation due to the amount of profits involved and with this being so cheap because it is on land and in our own country everything possible will be done to get as much of this out of the ground as possible.
I've been invested since September 2014 but have yet to post anything. There's more to UKOG than just HH. They actually have interests in existing licenses which are currently producing. Here's a link which could explain why UKOG is expanding its interests in other licenses as well. Except for IOW the other licenses have no mention of KC but we know the KC extends further and beyond. The problem is that they may be no more news for a while, and as the story drifts from the headlines so too will the share price.
Bought in to SOLO this morning at least they have the gas in Tanz coming shortly should move the SP up a bit
I will not get back in till it goes back down to 1p that should be next week the hype as gone out of this now and PIS will be leaving in droves next week before they get caught out and have to average down been there done that, i got out at 4p this morning so got lucky, as i said i will get back in when it goes down to 1p. i can wait
So this weekend, if the headlines are about the significance/importance and prospects of the find etc. BUY if the papers are about difficulty in extracting then....Not sure
This is so predictable, once the market closes you'll see the share price jump on late orders. All these people who keep saying it wont amount to much, saying it's nonsense and extracting is not possible are mad, if the company was not going to reasonably make a profit, i.e. it could not extract that oil, then the directors have a stat duty to wind up the company and put it into liquidation or go do something else to make a profit. That obv isn't going to happen so why not buy shares and enjoy the cheap shares before it becomes a div paying company in a few years?
When I was a boy I dreamed of being a share; but tonight I say, we must move forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards oil.
