"Prelims to March are in line with the April trading update, bar a significant uplift to the dividend. The Cloud Services division (formerly ‘Hosting’) delivered 19% revenue growth (9% organic) with consistently strong adjusted EBIT margins, reduced churn and diminished pricing pressure, while Easyspace delivered consistent revenue at an improved margin. As iomart continues to embrace the evolution of cloud services demands from public and private enterprise, it is now an Advanced Partner of Amazon Web Services, and a key..." note from finnCap this morning on Research Tree
Can anyone see any reason for the big drop over the last few days?
At 274p, assuming the shares might return to say 250p with no bid, the market is giving only a 50% chance of a bid materialising- fair? Or maybe arbs are staying away because it's a Scottish company?
Re: Takeover- I think the rising price & volume is why they had to put out the RNS today, but now that it's out it increases the chance of a counterbid. effectively, IOM is in play and available to the highest bidder, providing they are prepared to pay well north of 300p.
Shares should trade higher on this- it's nowhere near enough given that the shares have traded above 400p in the past year.
I agree with you Aurelius and added to my holding at 222. Gone crazy this am and pushing towards 270. What's happening anyone?
Still ticking up and no relevant newsflow that I can see. Still, not complaining. It seemed very cheap to me at 220p so perhaps it's just a case of people belatedly spotting the value (as there's not much value out there at the moment IMHO).
Not much ation in the comments page. It is not usually blank. Share price has risen 20 points during the last month but I notice the shares were quite active yesterday with 2 100K sellers and some fairly hefty buying. Shares go ex the divi in a couple of weeks time but has anyone got any views?
Results due Wed 28 May. Surprised there is no speculation as the co foreast profits would be ahead of expectations some weeks ago.
