Thanks BeerMonkey didn't know that will start posting on LSE instead.
Re. Do your research. Having read the link you posted Stag1974, do you think the Chinese might be interested in becoming involved with Sable? After all they are all over Africa like a rash.
Seen the video; liked the bit where it states that the Mt Nimba resource is one of the most accessible resources; this bodes well for a cost effective path to production. I wonder though if Mittal will really want a competitor on their doorstep, who have a better product? If I was the deep pocketed Mr Mittal, I would be seriously looking to have Mt Nimba all to myself.
I am not as well researched as many and sometimes struggle to understand the terminology but here is what I do know. 1. The company is sitting on a considerable resource; depressed iron ore prices at the moment but that's just a world economy thing. 2. The resource is high grade and therefore will be sought after. 3. The company now have access to get their goods to market; no good having a resource you can't get to a port I matter how valuable it is. 4. Mittal has an interest in the company even if it is not direct. 5. Directors want to make more than 11p per share. 5. Big shareholders want big eventual rewards. A share I'm sitting on but would still be more comfortable with it at 3p
Re:theCat. I am a long term holder but being new to stocks and shares I'm nursing a loss across my portfolio and would like to see some of my shares doing a bit better. It's been a steep learning curve on AIM and have turned my back on trading apart from 2.5, which I play about with. I have not been around enough to know who are the genuine posters on these board, those who have confidence in the company and can give the inexperienced PI a decent perspective. 60 in 5 yrs, hope to havea decent portfolio and some dividend income by then although think I'll need to be more in the FTSE 350 for that, not AIM.
The only thing I can see in the next 12 months, short of a JV or TO is me averaging down until closer to production when this share will seriously re rate! The perils of AIM! Sill hopeful Mittal will buy them out.
See the rampers are pumping up the rhetoric for the weekend?
