Another clever acquisition by Coms; Smarter Mobile UK joins portfolio Residential and business users will benefit from Coms’ announcement this week. The company is delighted to announce the purchase of Smarter Mobile UK to consolidate its mobile offering. Smarter Mobile UK, trading under the brand name Family Mobile offers a great value mobile phone service that is simple to use. Many of its thousands of loyal customers have been using the service since 2008 when it was launched in partnership with Ikea Family, the loyalty scheme created by Swedish retail giant. It’s shared ‘family accounts’ under which any number of individual phones can be managed have continued to prove to be innovative and cost effective to this day. This cash acquisition means all Smarter Mobile UK’s services and SIM stock will be branded as Coms Mobile, and allows Coms to strengthen its already powerful offering. This acquisition offers Coms cross and up-selling opportunities through its broadband, calls and lines services to home and corporate customers. Additionally, customers will benefit from extremely cost-effective services including competition-beating national and international roaming services, whilst corporate customers who rely on converged telephony solutions and machine to machine will be offered enhanced services and applications. Customers will begin to see the enhancements over the coming months.
