QPP is in a close period but has just issued a statement. A close period just prevents the directors of a company dealing in the shares, it does not prevent them from making a statement. However, common sense states that it would not be in their own interest to issue trading which would lead to a rise in the share price at a time when they could not buy and benefit from it. Or am I just a bit too cynical?
