What's everyone's views on today's events, Will this increase further tomorrow?
Up Up Up Up Up cmon my baby I'm going to will it up
I've noticed that Tom Winnifrith is one of the speakers at the investor show. He is someone who tends to champion the cause of investors in AIM who have been let down by BoD's so it would be very interesting to seek out his views on Edenville since his last interview with Sally. He has openly rated Edenville as a strong "buy" so I doubt very much that he wants this bitting him on the ar*e
I thought that they have been having preliminary talks for months now, the speed at which things are done is appaling, another question for the investors show, why???
Is everyone aware that there is an operational update on Edenville's website and that certain licences are being relinquished???
I totally agree, can you imagine how that conversation would go, hello Mr investor we are EDL would you like to invest your hard earned money with us, ok then how has the sp done recently, oh well it was 2.5 pence when we were an explorer but now we have found lots of coal it is 0.06!!! When you actually say it like that out load it is simply atrocious, thank god my average is closer to 0.30 but never the less on 10 million shares that is a big hit
Marco, no worries there will be sufficient there to make them feel very uncomfortable, hopefully this may create some urgency in their communication, I personally would not want to have to face shareholders who in some cases got in at a sp of 2.5, yes that was not a typo error 2.5 pence!!!! I will be interested to hear how the board feel that they have brought value to the company and justify their remuneration, just one question they can expect
If anyone on this board does work for EDL here is a message for you, you can expect a delegation of very upset shareholders who have been led up the garden path for the last few years to visit your stand at the Investor show, hope you are looking forward to it
I posted this info yesterday on ADVFN and also sent an email to EDL over the last number of days in relation to these licences and I think that has been the reason for the RNS today. Please find details of EDL’s licences, licence number, exp date etc. 5002/2008, active, exp date 5/5/14, Coal 5420/2008, active in default, exp date 23/10/14, Uranium 5659/2009, active, exp date 18/3/15, Uranium 5790/2009, active, exp date 11/6/15, all minerals, 6098/2009, active, exp date 3/12/15, Coal, in partnership with Upendo Group 6101/2009, active, exp date 23/9/15 Coal, in partnership with Upendo Group 6124/2009, active in default, exp date 30/12/15, Uranium 6147/2009, active, exp date 11/12/15, Coal 6174/2009, active, exp date 12/11/15, Coal 6180/2011, active in default, exp date 14/2/15, was with EDL but now listed with Javan 6993/2009, active in default, exp date 15/3/15, Coal 7799/2012, active, exp date 3/4/16, Coal P26139, Application made, Uranium P26363, Application made, Uranium All the above licences are either prospecting licences or applications. Prospecting licences are initially issued for 4 years or in some cases 6 years. The licences can be renewed up to a collective period of 11 years, but if a mining licence is not issued before the first renewal period, then 50% of the licence area must be relinquished and the area must be in block not cherry picking parts of an area to relinquish. To get a mining licence the company must submit an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and a Feasibility study report and apply for a mining licence. EDL had stated in a Sept 11th RNS that they had engaged a company to do this and would be applying for the mining licence.
