I didn't say anything about the boards...I was talking about PI mentality! Masoud has been very good at keeping the 'jam tomorrow' promises going, but it is all wearing a bit thin for many now. I actually think that the SP is not as solid as you suggest. I remember the discussions about this being held above 3p 'for a reason'...there was no reason, it wasn't being 'held' then...and it's not being 'held' now!

so if the chiense are sensible (which they usually are) and they do have a view to takeover they will wait until after the regulatory hurdles have been jumped

re a takeover. i think one is only likely to come from china once and if we are in production, certainly once we have approval to commence production. the Chinese aren't flavour of the month in Zambia atm, or other parts of Africa because of their business practices. treatment of workers etc. i think if BMR were Chinese owned ZEMA would look at it with a lot more scepticism

i imagine most PI's who have been in the game more than a few years are the same. could be wrong though

15:27 07/02/2014

i know for myself when i first started playing with shares i relied on the boards for support/information, now i use them mainly for conversation/passing time, not to guide my trading decisions

15:27 07/02/2014

i don't think the few dozen regular contributors on the boards are representative of most PI's in fact im pretty sure most PI's don't use the boards

I think that it is PIs holding this over 2p...you have to remember the mentality of PIs who have bought in at high levels and now would rather contemplate a possible get out in the future, rather than a massive loss today....so common on AIM. Overvalued companies keeping their heads above water thanks to desperate/hopeful PIs

15:25 07/02/2014

and MA can't prevent a hostile takeover either. for that reason if one comes i hope the price has improved beforehand

15:25 07/02/2014

if a takeover comes at this price the most itll be for will be about 2.5-3p (providing it's hostile) companies don't pay hundreds of percentage points premium usually

It's what the Chinese like to do...buy for a song...then delist...PIs left holding only their withered genitalia!
