The big institutional investors are neither selling nor buying. Sometime in the next month or so there will be an announcement ' Dow factory in commercial production for multiple clients' That's the bet...
Nothing wrong with paying your CEO a good salary. And believe me the TV world is changing and changing fast. QD's a revolution in display not seen for a decade or more. I see 4k QD laptops getting great reviews for display [link] The problem of course is that it contains cadmium which will be banned in Europe and China before the next version of the laptop can be released. Wonder what they'll do?
QTMM don't own their own IP. Very dangerous investment imo. But each to their own....
I had to laugh at your statement that Nanoco is understated? Didnt they just PR that they started a lighting division ..lol..what kind of annoucement is that?
What do you mean QMC has no partners? Did you see this today?SAN MARCOS, Texas, July 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quantum Materials Corp (OTCBB:QTMM) today announced a joint development agreement (JDA) with one of the world's leading manufacturers of display panels. The companies will be working together to develop next-generation Quantum Dot-based display technologies. Research and development teams of both organizations will be working closely together to address display application challenges and generate solutions enabled through advances in Quantum Dot technology. Terms and specifics of the agreement were not disclosed. Quantum Materials recently obtained heat resistance to 260 degrees Celsius for their QDXâ„¢ Quantum Dots, allowing for high-temperature film application and encapsulation in resins, silicones and other polymers, opening a realm of application possibilities for design engineers. "We are honored to enter into this agreement and value our ongoing collaboration," said Quantum Materials Founder and CEO Stephen Squires. "Our partner's engineering and design teams have proven again and again their ability to develop innovative display solutions using leading-edge technologies and then bring them successfully to market. We look forward to working with them to provide the foundation with which they are developing the displays of the future." ABOUT QUANTUM MATERIALS CORP Quantum Materials Corp develops and manufactures Quantum Dots and nanomaterials for use in display, lighting, medical and solar energy through its patented continuous-flow production process. With more than 2,000kg of current annual production capacity, QMC's volume manufacturing methods enable consistent quality and rapid and efficient scalability. Quantum Materials' products are the foundation for technologically superior, energy efficient and environmentally sound LCD UHD displays, the next generation of solid-state lighting, solar photovoltaic power applications, advanced battery and energy storage solutions, biotech imaging and theranostics. It's also important to note, why QD vision and Nanosys don't really to be fair to them claim massive leaps in their technology to encompass cadmium free QD's. They are much more advanced than QMC scientifically imo. But it does their management credit and makes them almost investable if they were listed. Trouble is their QD's will be restricted in Europe and China by the end of the year imo.
But QMC doesn't have any clients. How you can put an investor case at this stage is beyond me. At least Nano has Dow, LG and Marl confirmed. If they didn't I wouldn't be interested either. QMC over-state their case. Nano unfortunately in a way under-state their case.
QMC has cadmuim free product which can be mass produced substantially cheaper than Nanoco.
Quantum Materials Corp today released their QDX â„¢ class of rugged Cadmium-free quantum dots with the highest heat, oxidation and moisture resistance available industry-wide. QDXâ„¢ Quantum Dots do not degrade under the high heats used in application to film, silicon and polymer and allow for creative LCD display and LED lighting engineering as well as lowering protective barrier film costs. - See more at: [link]
